Join us at Stormbrew Farm in Abingdon (StormBrew Farm 25161 Watauga Rd, Abingdon VA 24211) for a hands-on Vegetable Literacy Workshop with Tastings that celebrates the beautiful, sometimes mysterious vegetables you see at farmers markets, but may not know how to use. Guided by the grower, you’ll explore the farm and learn to identify a variety of seasonal and specialty vegetables, hear how they’re grown, and discover what makes each one unique.

The workshop includes simple tastings that highlight the natural flavors of the harvest helping you connect names, textures, and tastes to vegetables you may have walked past before. Perfect for curious eaters, home cooks, and market shoppers, this experience builds confidence, curiosity, and appreciation for local, sustainably grown food while deepening your connection to Stormbrew Farm and the seasonal rhythms of Southwest Virginia.
